PRACTICE With Ease (a short slow flow yoga practice - 31 mins)

MEDITATE to the sound of the waves seated or while standing in mountain pose

Reflect + Journal

  • Bring your awareness to your sense of taste this week. Notice your relationship with food and your sense of taste, what tastes do you enjoy and what tastes are you averse to? Does your eating experience change when you are more aware of your sense of taste? Was it easy to engage your sense of taste or did you have to remind yourself to stay connected to it?

  • What is your relationship to water? Do you stay hydrated? Why or why not? Do you enjoy showers, bathtime, dips in the sea? What is your favourite body of water? How does it feel for you to be close to that body of water?

  • Reflect on your relationship to the feeling of Pleasure? Does it come naturally to you, or do you shy away from it? Why or why not? What things bring you a sense of pleasure in life? Is there space for these things in your everyday life?

  • When you feel creative/in flow, where are you? What are you doing? Who are you with? What do you like to create? How do you like to express your creativity?

  • How do you relate to your emotions? Do you allow yourself to feel them? Do you have go-to coping mechanisms? How do you relate to the emotions of those around you?

  • Examine your livings space, does it support your feeling of flow and creativity? Why or why not?
